Stars,

shine bright in the midnight sky.

Shimmering with the essence of peace.

Like your eyes.

I look into them,

and see a glimpse of Heaven.

I see deep into your soul,

and in your heart.

Stars,

here to guide my way,

through the darkest of my days.

Like your hands,

leading me down the path,

making sure I do not stray away.

I thank God for your presence in my life,

like the stars in the sky.
