Freezing The Moment

Folder:
Improv 2001

It still seems like

you're here with me.

Like I can still hear you breathing,

and like I can still hear your heart beat.

But you're not, it's an illusion.

Like an oasis in a barren desert.

Flashbacks of the past,

run through my mind.

Days of old,

when we were together.

And days of new,

when I'm without you.

Missing you, and your sweet voice.

But every moment we spent together,

is one I will never forget.

I have frozen them in my mind,

never to melt or fade away.

And every moment I think of,

that I remember from the past,

or that I had once forgotten,

will freeze.

Even the last moments of your life.

Your last words,

your last tender touch,

and your last breath.

They are frozen in my mind.

I will never forget you,

and I'm sorry for not being able,

to say good bye.

So here me when I say,

I love you,

will never forget you,

and good bye.
