I left my heart

in Cruces

Wher the man I once loved

still breathes

He brought me down

stopped coming around

so I had to make my peace.

Even though he's done me wrong

and I know I'm being naiive

My love for him will still stand strong

This I truly believe.

Yet I've come to find

That he doesn't care

All he knows is I'm not there

And it pains me deeply

for I loved him so sweetly

But his taking time

to search for himself

Also to search for another

So I guess I'll have to understand

That we'll never again be together...

       ...I left my heart in Cruces

          Where the man I once loved

          still breathes

          Yet I hope he still looks in his soul sometimes

          because my spirit is what he will see.
