When your smile shines upon me
It leads me through a gate
Where I step into happiness
And shut away hate
There I find an empty hand
Proving to be strong
The longer that I hold it
The further I'm pulled
From where I don't belong
Lost, but only when looking into
Your eyes filled with evidence
Through this path of life
Your love will always take precedence
I wander in this garden of the heart
Where a seed has come to bloom
A rose of love shall be waiting
For you after the setting of each moon
Nights of rain give growth
A pleasurable dew to the eye
My last goodnight
