Virtuous Wife

Christian This noble man deserves far more than she has offered him
He shall have a woman with a pure heart
Though, before his identity revealed, against him she sinned
She does not deserve his love or any other part
Though, she was not virtuous in her past, which she shamefully regrets
In her is the grace of a repentant heart, a conscious mind
Which will keep back no untold secrets
As she searches for this man she was meant to find
Maybe she found him and already knows
Awaiting for God to reveal to him the same
Maybe this man consuming her heart
Will not cast his eyes down upon her with shame
If he’ll take her, she’ll honor him with love
She’ll bring him good, no harm all the days of his life
She’ll uphold him to Christ up above
Everything she can, to be a good wife
She’ll greet him with a kiss at the door every night
Take care of their family, raised on Christ’s foundation
She’ll make a mends first after every lover’s fight
And celebrate with each of their children’s Salvation
She’ll share all of her dreams with him
Because he’ll be in each and every one
She won’t sin against him ever again
Not like she did before he was known
She’ll submit to his decisions and argue not
She’ll be by his side every step of the way
He’s the one for so long she’s sought
His love, she will never betray
They’ll have devotions together every night before bed
And she’ll speak with a full heart with every prayer said
She can make him happy for the rest of his life
She’ll do what it takes to be a good wife
He’ll be the head over her and Christ over him
She’ll submit to his rules with a compassionate heart
Together they’ll praise God much more than they’ll sin
She’ll make him a good wife, right from the start
