I hear...
I feel...
I cherish...
and I love...
the way
music captivates
an essence of my being.
It takes me
to wondrous places
I've never imagined going...
behind my walls
of solitude and isolation
of exposing
feelings, emotions, yearnings,
desires, cravings, beckonings,
and so much more
that I can't seem
to express
on my own.
I need music
and want it so dearly.
I get lost in
an endless maze
of wander
and delight
of being set free
of unknown barriers
set forth by
society and me.
I love to be
free
and to give my all
in singing and dancing
all I feel, want,
desire, crave, and just everything
by being
in the music
of the Earth
brought forth from God
to set our souls
on fire from the passion
of being alive.
