Panther sandals run with
whispering owl hair whipping back
for pouncing lion legs to
accelerate faster and faster
in light monkey cargo pants
laughing loudly when she
easily leaps over high hurdles
like race horses
while gray tree frog eyes smirk
before cranberry fabric molds
marathon trainer curves smugly
and through cardinal red ribbon
she breaks through for defeating
mental barriers.
