in coaxing a mate.

Slinky felines gaze
up at their admired males
while rubbing the fence.

They linger briefly
choosing which female they want,
but pick the same one.

Aggressive males brawl
with raging desire to win
that lucky lady.

Females get feisty
while awaiting their decisions
and puffs of hair fly.

Winning him over
wasn't easy, but worth it
when nuzzles her.

Furs blend together
as they are adding to their
cat population.
