Dismantled Racism

Dismantled Racism

Karyn Indursky

May our colors beautify
the landscapes of our countries
like exotic flowers.

May our physicality's decorate
our beloved societies
like exquisite pendants.

May our eyes glisten
with integrated neighborhoods
like elegant diamonds.

May our hair sequin
equality amongst entwined nationalities
like divine pearls.

May our shapes purify
ruffled feathers of segregation to unity
like gorgeous bracelets.

May our religions love
the freedom of our expressions
like elaborate rubies.

May our freedom tailor
the accumulation of people
holding hands of all races
like wondrous bonds of liberality.
