My Symphonic Poetry

My Symphonic Poetry

Karyn Indursky

Humming my syllables in your head.
Tapping the rhythm with your feet.
Swaying your jazz hips to the beat.
Trees whistling softly in your ears.
Croaking frogs adding tenor.
Soprano and bass voices singing chorus.
Feeling the rush of emotions.
Consuming the essence of every stanza.
Standing on a mountain top of melodies.
Holding a microphone in shaky hands.
Lyrics teasing your tingling lips.
Harmonious dancers joining you.
Becoming whole with my poetry.
