Puncture-Wound Penetration

Bold blood pounds
against hard ribs
with its fists
begging, pleading, demanding
release from captivity
to blissfully feel
what lies beyond
organ, bone, human
boundaries as cages
too solid for
allowance of flowing
liquid while being
thin enough for
puncture-wound penetration.
