There's a time in life

That we need to stop and say

I've done you wrong

Will you please forgive me

On this day?

We follow in what we want to believe

We don't follow in what

Someone else wants us to believe.

We cry for mercy

We cry out for hope

We cry out for everything

That you are known for.

I'm speaking of Jesus Christ

The one who made you

Who you are today

You won't be able to change

How Jesus made you

because you are only you

And I am only me.

So lets apologize to him

For all the hatred words

and movements that we've

done to him.

because when we do

He'll always forgive me 

and you.
