May I say that I have not in my twenty-two years
That I've been alive.
Had a person like you come into my life
And just take comfort of my thoughts
And everything else in between.
You're a true person to me and I don't
Think you will let me down.
I had other people come in my life just like you,
But they never once treated me the way
That you treat me sweetie.
I just hope that you think the same way about me,
Because if you don't
Then there's no hope for us being friends.
