This And More

Sleep, sleep my precious child,

And when you wake, you’ll have rocked 1,000 miles.

Dreamed of balloons and danced with Kings.

Bought new clothes and received a ring.

This my dear, this and more.

You soon will see, this and more.

So, wipe those tears and dry those eyes.

Your mommy’s here, so please don’t cry.

So kiss the moonbeams and smile at the sun,

And when it’s time away you’ll run.

Run to your love with an open heart,

But remember, my dear, we’ll never part.

For I am yours and you are mine.

That’s how it’s been since the beginning of time.

This my dear, this and more.

You soon will see this and more.

And when, my dear, the time comes at last,

When present meets future and future meets past,

You’ll say good-bye to those that you love,

And join me in this land above.

You’ll kiss the moonbeams and taste the sun,

Because this, my dear, is the last one.

The last chance you get to be held and rocked by me,

And all this I tell you, all this you will see.

Because, my child, the whole world is yours to take.

Your life, my child, is yours to make.

This my child, this and more.

You soon will see, this and more.
