Everything is life has a purpose in itself,
Eventually we all have a particular fate,
Sometime fate take longer to unfold,
Other times our destiny is readily apparent,
Yet we all require a purpose to our lives,
A reason for being here, alive, on Earth...

We all need something to motivate us,
To get us to where we need to be in life,
Sometimes it takes the place of a person,
Whether it is family friends or anyone,
People often pass in and out of our lives,
Sometimes meaningful sometimes not...

Sometimes it takes the place of an event,
Life is full of such events, some large,
Some are so small that they are overlooked,
Yet others are just milestones in life,
Such as a graduation, relationship, etc,
Events play a role in a larger picture...

As Nietszche mused to himself so long ago,
A event can either transform us,
By which we are made better or worse,
Or an event can completely destroy us,
Shatter oneself into thousands of pieces,
Events can be large or small, good and bad...

To guide us to where we need to be,
A purpose of sorts is necessary,
I personally call it a "soul purpose",
For which without we would be adrift,
Each persons purpose is truly unique,
Find your own mission and goals in life...
