From the sand beneath my toes,
To the oceans roar in the distance,
To the miles of sand I have to walk,
To the water surging in and out,
To the boardwalk in the distance....
I see everyone pass me by as I walk,
Young and old, fit and out of shape,
To couples and singles of both sexes,
To the stones lying in the sand,
To dogs on the beach....
I wish I had someone to share this with,
I wish, oh wish, upon this amazing sight,
That I might find someone to enjoy it with tonite,
But alas that is not yet to be,
For she is yet to be with me.....
