Necessities

Handbag gaping wide,
ready to fill with treasure.
Carried daily here to there.
Feminine goodies
combined into jumbled mess,
never to be found again.

Poetic Form: Sedoka

Sedoka is a 6 line poem composed of two katauta, or half-poems. Each katauta has three lines and is complete in itself, and should be able to stand alone - they follow a pattern of 5-7-7 syllables. Two of them combine together to make a complete whole, for a 5-7-7-5-7-7 pattern, for a total of 38 syllables.
