Bad Childhood Memories

Closing out the family home,
my thoughts roam and manifest.
Embellish sorrow today,
is my way to disinfest.

No scrim can cover my thoughts,
my mind taking shots of past.
Those memories now Vivid,
making livid and aghast.

Poetry Form: Awdl gwydd

Awdl gwydd: (owdl gow-widd):

Each stanza is a quatrain with lines of seven syllables.
Lines two and four rhyme;
lines one and three cross rhyme into either the third, fourth, OR fifth syllable of lines two and four.
In the possible scheme for two stanzas below you will note that in the first stanza I used the third syllable
and in the second stanza I used the fifth, but the third, fourth or fifth are "possibles".
