Scope of Life

Folder:
2006 Poetry

The scope of life is on my mind,

which form thoughts of my demise,

though they're out and not confined.

They're somewhat dark as if I'm blind,

photographs soaked with tears and cries,

the scope of life is on my mind.

I must keep these thoughts and stay refined,

giving lines to my face to prove I'm wise,

though they're out and not confined.

Words and thoughts for all mankind,

filled with truths and never lies,

the scope of life is on my mind.

I worked and toiled in deadly grind,

attempting to keep it from my guise.

The scope of life is on my mind,

though they're out and not confined.

This is my first Villanelle.  You really have to wrestle with these bad boys
