She just floats there in the darkness of night,

lost in death as she was lost in her life.

The scent of the flowers lost to her senses,

just as her emotions are lost to her heart.

How many years has it been since she died,

hanging herself in the loneliness of her soul.

Days going by before strangers coming by,

finding her corpse stank and decomposed.

She longs for release and eternal salvation,

hoping her sin will eventually be absolved.

Freeing her soul to this graveyard prison,

allowing her peace to enter the light.
