I got involved in a poetry challenge contest that was based on a picture. It also had a list of specific words that had to be included.  I got wrapped up in it and wrote a number of entries.  Most of them are below:





Metamorphoses



The lion and falcon embrace in the heat

Their exotic desires cause tempestuous urges

Molten in their mysterious desires

Their fantasy forbidden from us all





Animal Instinct



Her breasts pushed hard against my chest

Releasing the animal instinct in our loins

This mysterious exotic fantasy erupts

Into forbidden delights of the flesh

Molten fluids needing to be released

Embracing in the exotic African sun

Animals taking mysterious human form
