2002 Poetry The smell of spring is in the early morning air
The birds are singing, winter has finally move on
I wake in the morning with nothing to despair
Vegetation is growing, I can see it each dawn
It's as if life has been given a brand new start
Which we all should be glad and take advantage
Go into the world with the intent to take part
In all those things you think you can manage
Whether they be small or large it doesn't really matter
As long as you try, and in your heart you know
That everything you saw was put on your platter
In hope that in some way, you will a better way grow
Into a person of warmth, love and compassion
For all the people of which you share this planet so small
Don't think to hold back with the intent to ration
These traits which I speak, that are really god's call
