Forever Will Follow

Don't worry my love that I have gone
There is more to existence than what you see
Trees with leaves of green are but a small part
Flowers with their tender folds nothing more

Life on this earth, as wonderful as it may be
Is nothing compared to what I now see
No one can comprehend all that there is
All that will be when they move on

I hear the music of forever over the hills
Across the oceans of blue and reflection
Deep in nature's forests and roaming plains
It fills my heart with an intimate glow

I feel your love across the mystic divide
Close your eyes and feel my warmth
Let it embrace your soul
Fill your heart with things yet to come

I will be here waiting for you in eternity
Patently knowing what we have to come
Trust me my love, for I have seen the rapture
Knowing that forever will follow

I bought a CD and one of the songs had this title. I thought it would be a good source for a poem.

Oh, this is my 100th poem posted on this site.

A milestone piece.
