Hand in hand God leads me away



And oh how I wish that I might stay



With friends and family, people I love



Yet yearning to be with the God up above



The decision is hard, this I know



Yet it’s time that I must go



Now God calls my name



And I know it is no game



I want to say goodbye



And I’m sure about to cry



Tears start to run



And I know it’s all done



I’m not ready to go



Just not sure if I know



It all went so fast



This life just didn’t last



For all was such fun



But now it is done



And I’m on my way



To a sunnier day



In Heaven above



Embraced in God’s love
