SOUND OF SILENCE

Could hear the sound of unfurling petals!

Which was as clear as mushroom burst!

Could hear the rainbow’s merging colors!

Which was as loud as fading light! 

Could hear the glide of midnight mist!

Which was as noisy as unfathomable depth! 

Could hear the sound of emerging thoughts!

Which was as vivid as streaming blood! --- How could it be?

    BUT

I Couldn’t hear the sound of unfolding love!

As it was reminiscent of the sound of dream!

Couldn’t hear the echoes of uncompromising love!

When She revealed her love for me!...Could it be?

                     YET

As She whispered Her infinite love,

I heard Her voice of deadly silence!

It was as sweet as heavenly chime!

That kept ringing and reverberating my mind!

                  ALAS!

I could hear nothing Oh! Dame;

'Coz, the human noise, silenced me to shame!

Nevertheless, you got me submerged by

Your Sound of Silence!

             HOWEVER

If I had heard your compassionate love…!

I’d have said, “I love you”!

      FOR

You are the 'Nature' who I adore!

Better, late than never!

     AND

I say now, “I love you”.
