Reminiscence and Goodbye
He is calm and brilliant, so sweet and gentle
He speaks so kindly, so loving at all times
His gentle soul leaves no trace of doubts in heart and mind
Even when things are not so worth trusting.
He continues to believe and have faith
He knows his beloved's heart and mind is weak
But he remained steadfast, keeping his spirit up
All because he loves her so.
She broke down so many times at her own mistakes
'Hold my hand, believe and never let go', he pleaded
So shaken by her cultivated and nurtured fears.
Lovingly, he stood still beside her, and reassured her.
He looked at her in the eyes and said, "everything is alright."
He stroke her long black hair, she hugged him tight.
Tears rolled down her cheeks, he didn't know
She tried to regain comfort in his arms.
Her mind is frail and her heart is weak.
She seeks for strength and warmth of his love
Yet she did not remember and never learn…
She shattered his dreams, leaving no future to hold
But her beautiful beloved is now tired and weary.
So heart broken, yet, he continued to count his blessings,
She closed her eyes and took a deep long breath
At all the great things they did together
Everything was beautiful, like morning song of birds.
Beautiful flowers in bloom and music in the heart,
These things she will forever treasure deep within
And though it's never the same again <br
She will always remember how he loved and cared for her.
