Growing Up You live and you learn, people always say
A lesson can be learned from every mistake
Stubborn and naïve, I ignored those words
Instead of letting go I would dwell in the hurt
But life has been changing and so have I
Eventually life managed to open my eyes
With each new day comes a new understanding
I am astonished by how clear things are becoming
Instead of searching outside I started looking within
It is was in finding myself did my life really begin
The happiness I couldn’t find in the world
Emerged as I began to figure out this girl
