Growing Up Through all the times and all the tears
We’ve finally reached that point for tears
How can we say goodbye to our treasured past
It’s so sad to think the fun can’ t last
After wishing and waiting to get outta here
That longed-for time is finally near
But with so many memories and laughs
It’s hard to not want to turn back
Through changing friends and broken hearts
Through the lies and the falling apart
Somehow it all seems special now
Even when I hated this little town
I love my friends and all the fun
How can all of that really be done?
But I know I must go and say goodbye
It’s gonna be so hard to not just cry
But life moves on and so must we
So now, let’s go! We’re finally free…
