Wolves

Dark paws upon the earth, whisper silence in the night.

Beauty in motion, a blur of fur.

The flash of fangs, is all its might.

The majestic creature misunderstood.

Hunted to extinction, from fear and greed.

Humans are the monsters, the killer in the night.

The wolf is the innocent, lost in plight.

How can You harm an animal so pure? Because it's morals are more than our own.

They eat what they kill, as You hunt for game.

They live for their families, while You could care less.

The pups are the treasures, Your children corrupt.

Mating for life, while You divorce at the slights chance.

Given the facts, the options now weighted

The wolf is humane, while the human remains, a stalking breast with no remorse, destroyer of life, a victim of habit.

So when You hear the stories rumors and tails of Monsters killing people, and animals, think not of the wolf, who's fur is like silk but of Your reflection with sinful guilt.
