Meeting the kids

The sun came out and with that the birds began to sing, everything seem so clamed and relax, the house had a sent of pine and coffee and Chris the young father was reading a paper when the screaming began. Charge screamed Richard the youngest, out of nowhere came three kids dressed as warriors with curtains and bed sheets attacked Chris; they had a big fight that ended with a big laugh and some plates of ice cream a typical Sunday Afternoon for Chris.

Everything seems so difficult since Mary passed; Richard now had to care for three children and somehow find a way to bring food to the table, it surely was exhausting, but at the end of the day when Chris sat down and read stories to the kids he was happy.

As you can clearly see this was a normal family in a normal suburb in a normal city in United States. That is the way that Chris considered his life normal. Everything seemed to be liked a well-oiled machine it just kind of flowed.

Then one day while he was going on his normal supermarket run Chris saw something he had lost for a while, he saw something so beautiful that he almost dropped the milk he had on his hand. Amber was her name a young blonde and nervous girl, she was picking her favorite cheese, and with those eyes she had destroyed the cycle that Chris had constructed.

After some meditation Chris finally musters up the courage to go talk to the unknown girl, and would you know, it was a match made in heaven. I don’t know if you believe in love at first site, or in destiny or in soul mates, this somehow something far beyond, and they both felt it.

From that moment on they where inseparable, Amber dropped by the office and had lunch everyday, they went to the park, to the movies, they even went to the bathroom at the same time. I know this sounds at little bit creepy but it was love, true love.

The time came where she had to meet the family, the strongest test to a widow father, if the kids did not like her she was gone, end of discussion. Still Chris decided that Amber was the one, and after some thought they came up with the idea to had a nice dinner in the house.

Amber arrived with a big cake and was a little scared when she rang the doorbell, the door slowly opened and Chris introduced her to his children. But something went wrong terribly wrong, Amber never came back to the house and Chris forgot about love completely.

But where did it all go wrong they where perfect for each other, where did all the love go? You see there was a thing that Amber never considered.

Sadly Chris had no kids.
