I don’t know why they’re so afraid.



I don’t know why

They’re so afraid

For me to e-mail or call

Steve they should know

I won’t say nothing to upset

Him. I of all people know

What somebody being away

From their family feels like.

My daddy watched me grow up

In pictures for goodness sake.

So I realize the last thing

Steve needs to hear is sad stuff

He’s probably sad enough just

Not being able to kiss his newly married

Wife Ashley goodnight every night!

Or not being able to talk his daughter

Whenever he feels the need to hear her

Sweet voice! I just wished they would just

Give me a break on this whole thing
