filled with deceit
and shame...
And as I stood waiting

and in so doing
kept me at your heel.
The dancing grew old
and you saw it, too,
as your steps stumbled
and Hate no longer guided you.
You confessed all your sins
to me
and begged me for redemption...
and I forgave you.
and I still love you.
but I wonder...
