I'm not asking for time

I'd never ask for your blessing.

But I've misplaced my purpose

And, I'm just asking for sight.

Let me see you clearly.

Burn before my eyes.

I'm lost in thickest darkness

that swallows up the sun.

I've failed though trying my hardest

Now I've nowhere left to run.

I can't pretend it's not my fault

I have sold myself for years.

To the depths they led my lustful eyes.

Now I live trapped by my own fears.

So please

Give me sight.

Won't you brush away the splinters from my eyes?

Let me see you smile dearly

As your glory fills the skies...
