A faded ghost in the back of your mind,

Of the man once loved in your heart;

But a faded memory in the back of your mind.



fading into the darkness,

Gone into your memory and forgotten at last.

Not knowing who it was in the past,

To be know forever at a glance,

But a memory that's fading fast.

Knowing that life is the only penance.

To avoid a life in darkness.



The ghosts are gone and faded away

Not remembering even as much as today

Living every moment of your life from day to day



Fading memory in your mind

Of that ghost in the locking bind

Not ever thinking if he is the one

Only thinking you need to run



But when you look back your realize it all

And it was a person who has been forgotten by you

And your memory has faded and withered away

So that's the tale for all this day

Memory gone and faded away.
