In Time

Personal Poems

There was a boy,

Sitting alone in the room.

Far away in the corner.

Didn't talk much,

Didn't let anyone get to close.

Scared.

Shy.

Quiet.

Cold.

Older then his age.

When will they catch up?

In Time...

There was this boy,

Hanging out with childhood friends.

Playing out in the field.

Simple games of imagination.

Childhood.

Yet still he felt alone.

And still to old for his age.

When will they catch up?

In Time.

There was this young man,

Lost the best friend he knew,

And had a rocky year,

Till he met another.

Had fun,

Laughed and smiled.

Enjoyed the time with them,

But cried himself to sleep at night.

To old for his age.

When will they catch up?

In time...

There was this teen,

A crazy fucked up guy.

Lost his mind.

And his friends.

At least ones that count.

To years spend lost in the life.

Yet things changed.

The water washed the past away.

He became who he had so long wanted to be.

And yet still a bit too old for his age.

When will they catch up?

In time...

What is life?

For why do I wait?

I keep saying in Time they understand.

Fuck that, the time is now...

No need to wait,

No need to make excuses.

Just time to be who I am,

And fuck those who don't like it.

It should be just me,

Less anger,

More fun,

And a little less loud.

A quieter,

Happier,

Me...

When will it happen?

In time...
