Meandering Musings

Meandering musings.

The life fantastic.

The light,

The white.

The redemption.

Resurrection.

Rising from the grave,

Ascending to the stars.

Steps to heaven.

Anointment to the god.

Light in the dark,

The guide.

Leaving sin.

Absolution.

Timeless,

Never ending.

Forever,

The lonely wanderer of the mind.

He who is the muse,

Anything and everything.

He who is lost,

Who earns to be held,

Who knows how to help,

Yet can't help himself.

Lost in sorrow,

Lost in tomorrow.

The iconic sight,

Of this original night.

He fights with all his might.

But you never see the sight.

The walls are hallow

Yet he is still shallow.

Walking down the halls,

Lost in the malls.

What come what may,

He dies upon this day.

Falls to the ground,

For he won’t rise above.

Nor fall below.

He doesn’t believe.

He only knows what he sees.

Yet you don't see me.

He doesn’t buy the bullshit,

Yet you still sit near the casket.

The cross overhead,

The lies he was fed.

He now only knows,

His final bed.

The timeless night.

The never-ending sleep.

Watch the body creep.

As it decays into light.

The man watches from afar.

Careful steps.

Never knows where they are.

The mind wanders on quiet nights.

The mind yearns in darkened streets.

The mind wants life,

When the body gives out,

You’re still alive.

Forever in thought.

Even if its not your own.

They will forever be alive,

And you will always be with me.
