I know I have to be strong

Because In my heart I can't go on

Even though my love is true

I'll be happier without you



Leaving you will hurt me so bad

But I can't live a life always being sad

You treat me like a child you own

I can't no more, I rather be alone



We've been together for so many years

We've shared joy, love even tears

But as grew, things began to change

Everything just began to re-arrange



But for my love for you I could not see

That we changed, both you and me

The love was still ther in my heart

But we were slowly being torn apart



I've changed so much just for you

Now there's nothing I can do

For I wish to live as I am, Being me

To do that, together we could never be



For things I love you don't

To accept them for me, you won't

No more pretending, no more games

No sense  in trying, it can never be the same



I'm willing to work out what is different

To compromise and acknowledge with consent

For no barriers can stop or destroy true love

Once we know what we want and are really made of.
