I wished upon a star

High up in the sky,

I ask the star to help me out

I ask the star why?



My life had been in turmoil

My choices had all gone wrong,

For someone with such a vision

I was no longer strong.



I needed someone to help me

I wanted to do whats right,

I kept searching high and low

But that star gave me light.



The glorious star began to lead me

Right where I needed to be,

How was it that right beside me

Was the love of eternity.



I am so glad I have you

I am so glad I listened to the star,

I am so glad when I needed you

You weren't very far.



I thank God daily

For the love I found in you,

I thank God completely

For finding love that was true.



My wished on a star have ceased

Because there's nothing more I need,

The love I found when I found you

By the world shall be envied.



My life and heart are now complete

My family is beside me,

I have everything I could ever want,

My life is beyond happy.



I love you baby so very much

You have a heart of gold,

It is you that's my forever love

It is you I long to hold.



So take my hand don't let go

Become my loving wife,

You will forever be all mine

You'll always be my life.
