Through life
On a gentle breeze
Not really seeing
All there is to see
You will hurt people
Left and right
You will not give a damn.
You are incapable of understanding
All that my heart understands
You may seem strong
And stead-fast
But when you are alone
It does not last
Because like everyone else
There comes that time
When you turn off the lights
And you close your eyes
And there it is
All the pain and deceit
Empires of nonsense
Falling down at your
Feet.
There it is
All that light can’t pick up
And to know all of this
For all my anger
It’s
ENOUGH.
