Oh darling I can’t win for losing,

I always come last in your games

I say that I'll try keep my distance

Then I'm begging your time all the same.

Well I used to hold my head up high,

And I’d laugh at fools in love.

Now you give me an inch and i take a mile

But these miles are never enough.

I see all of your friends think I’m crazy,

I can see people laugh at my pain’.

When you pull me close enough to feel-

Then you tell me to just go away.

You are the number one performer,

You are the master of this zoo’

And I hate myself for taking orders

And simply for loving you.

Well tell all your friends I am crazy'

And tell them it's all just a joke' 

Cause one day I will rise like a pheonix

And you'll just be ashes, 

and smoke!
