This has been nothing short

of a rollercoaster with you. 

I read the warning signs,

the disclaimer,

before boarding. 

I did it anyways. 

You always stated your opinion of me,

which was Ok at first. 

Sure, no problem. 

Nearly 10 years later, 

You're still here.

I am still here. 

Regardless of who I ended up with, 

you still mean more to me, still. 

There are things you only know,

and I'm guessing it's still the same for you. 

I don't think you understand

the nature of our relationship

and the value you have.

The foothold you have in my life.

Now, moreso than ever. 

The ups and downs, and drops continue it course,

But I am guessing one of us will get off at some point. 

But so far, it has given me the ride of my life.
