Let Spring Come in Reality

Winter hasn’t yet gone

It is desperate and stubborn

And it is hovering on

It gulps all colors

to make snow so white

It sheds the leaves on trees

to paint nature sad and dry

I am not against winter

It has its deciduous charm

cold, barren and abstract

I await spring to come, in reality

Tulips burst into colors

Faunas will breathe in dew

Robins nest on bushes

And floras will flourish in hue

I gaze through the window

And view spring blur

It sings and dances

at a distance on spurs

My backyard, plants

and shrubs I need to clean

to nourish the aura

for spring to thrive and seed

So I gesture winter to leave.
