I wish upon a star

To be as bright as you are

Without you i would not have made it this far

Spending time is difficult from afar

Wishing things didn't have to be this way

Wasting away alone i crumble and decay

As my withered soul begins to fray

A difficult path i embrace

Falling apart without a trace

Wishing i could start over in another time and place

You will never see me far from grace

I Feel ive been struck by the devil's hand

Forced to move to a far off land

My heart begins to crumble and fall like sand

Maybe things would be different had my life been better planned

Now i just feel like im about to be canned

So much goes wrong with just one turn

Life is so short yet so much time i burn

There is so much more i have yet to learn

Ive come so far chasing the happiness i yearn

Feeling on top of the world when you are next to me

It is really the only way i want to be

I hope you feel the same and this is what you see

Whenever we are together you truely set me free
