Love and Betrayal,
Trust gained and trust taken,
it's the life of a human that's broken.
Everyone needs to be needed,
everyone needs a friend,
someone to confide in,
someone to trust.
Everyone wants security,
they want faithfulness,
Everyone wants to be loved,
No one wants to be hated.
Those broken lose hope,
those happy are broken,
emotion wears you down,
and all is lost and never found.
The light dims and darkness shrouds,
selfpity and depression engulf you.
The light grows lighter,
love sheds the endless layers of hate,
light is restored.
Everyone needs a friend,
Some one to confide in,
Everyone wants to be loved,
