Judgement and Justice

I'm telling the Earth

what you did to me....

The Earth will tell the flowers,

The flowers will tell the bees,

The bees will tell the trees,

The trees will tell the birds,

And the birds will whisper

in the ears of many.

The rivers will carry

my sadness to the sea,

And the sea will answer

with chaotic tidal waves.

The mountains will remember

what you tried to bury inside me.

The moon will keep watch

over every tear I cry,

While the stars bear witness

to every night I survive.

The wind will carry my story

from valley to valley,

Through fields where the wildflowers bow,

And every leaf that trembles

in its passing

will know the truth

you thought no one

would ever know.

The rain will fall

where my heart once broke,

And the soil will drink

every word I could not speak.

Even the stones beneath your feet

will remember

the weight of my silence—

And they will crumble.

And when spring comes,

the flowers will bloom

with the knowledge of my pain.

The bees will carry it

from blossom to blossom,

The trees will shelter it

within their ancient rings,

And the birds will scatter it

across the sky,

Until my story has

nowhere left to hide.

You may have thought

you wounded only me,

But the Earth has ears,

The wind has a memory,

And the sky has never been deaf.

So I will chase you with anger,

And curse your name

beneath the sun,

Because not all lies

can continue to run.

I'll let the world remember—

what you all did to me.

And my roots

will carry on the legacy,

Deep beneath the ground

where time cannot erase it.

What you thought

would remain a secret

will echo forever

on the wings of birds.

And as the Earth

Continues to speak the story,

As the rivers continue to speak,

The mountains will remember,

The stones will crumble,

As the sky hears every word—

There will be nowhere

left for the truth to hide.

For Judgment will come,

And Justice will speak.

Not for a moment.

Not for a season.

The memory will never fade—

Judgment and Justice

Your sentence-eternity.
