One night before bed

When all my prayers were said

My heart tried to sink

My mind wandered to think



I crawled into bed

And rested my head

I tear began to fall

And I prayed for it all



I prayed for peace

And war to cease

I prayed for a man

To take me by the hand



I wished for love

And not to be shoved

I prayed for a suprise

And slowly closed my eyes
