9-11 was supposed to be an easy day
But the plane took that away
Terrorists took the blue sky
And turned it grey, while people turned to cry

Innocent people went to work
While fight 11 was taken over by a jerk
The jerk hit the WTC tower one
And he made the world stun

Then tower two was hit
Flight 175 will forever permit
It was hit low
The impact was such a blow

Many brave men
Lost their innocent lives when
They went in
The first towers twin

At minimum 126 officers died that day
While the sky turned gray
Many people grieved
While no one at all was relieved

Many people sorry, for everything
Even if they didn’t do anything
9-11 was the worst day in history
Why it happened will always be a mystery
