Hide & Seek II

The sun came out today

From a land far away

It was playing hide and seek

With the birds near the creek

The birds found the sun

And were having lots of fun

They went to go hide

And found no place to abide

They were found by the sun

Then their game was done

So the sun went on his way

And the little birdies hit the hay

Back to a warm bed

Where they could rest a tired head

Then the moon came back out

And the birds couldn't pout

Soon they were all asleep

Not making even a peep

Until the sun returned to the sky

And the birds once more did fly
