I took more pills to keep me numb

Yes I know that it sounds dumb

But it is only then I can deal

With how I really want to deal

I want our love to feel good

Not care about what could

Being numb masks the pain

and emotions that fall like rain

It sets the tone for desire

Makes me feel sexy and higher

So who cares if I took a few pills

They are MY cheap thrills

It's not like I have another

But these pills sure make me feel like I'm no bother

Just let me be numb

You're sleeping so its not like it matters anyhow
