when will we have true peace?
when will it be safe enough for you or me to walk the streets without turning around scared to see who's behind?
see we must be blind
if when we look into our lives we can honestly say we are living
because to me it seems that we are still struggling to survive in this earth
and mainly its bcause we forgot what we are worth
we're taking away each others lives like its a game
and it's a shame
but who's to blame
other than society ....right?
wrong!
we are the one's who should be held accountable for what's going on
Society is only what we allow it to be
last night i turned on the TV and i cried for a brother thati didnt even know
because that just showed how much we as a people have not grown
it's mad depressing this world that we living in
where people rather compare to see how big their nine is
than when someone close to them get bodied we in the streets marching talking about
LET'S STOP THE VIOLENCE
but the true crime is......
tomorrow we'll probably go back to being the same
sit around, not doing anything expecting things to change.
but change dont come by waiting because time waits for no one
we wait for it
someone once told me i had the power of words
to use them for positive and object to all ignorance
i thought deeps of HIS words and i came up with this
IF I COULD AFFECT JUST ONE , THAN THEY TOO WOULD AFFECT ONE
and both our one's would turn into some
and some would eventually turn into millions
and maybe SOMEDAY the rest of the world would see where we're coming from
and we will no longer need to stop searching for the day when we shall overcome
but once again millions has to start with ONE
so if its not you whose willing to make this world how GOD intended it to be
that i guess that ONE
will have to be me!!!
